A Note About Extension Cord Selection and Usage: When using an extension cord with one or more heating devices, it is important that the TOTAL current draw of all devices not exceed the capacity of the extension cord or the AC circuit. Use only 3-wire GROUNDED extension cords. Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) service is also recommended. See page 4 for more information on proper cord length and gauge. All circulation heaters on pages 87-90 are equipped with different male plugs depending on the wattage and voltage requirements of the heater. This diagram shows the plug configuration for the three wattage/voltage combinations that are used. Vehicles with heater hose connected to radiator cannot use circulation type heaters. ACCESSORIES The small size of some engine compartments, especially vehicles with transverse engines, may make circulation heater installation difficult even though it may be listed as a heating option. The following accessories are available for use with circulation heaters:
